Velocity Assault

Velocity Assault is an adrenaline-fueled movement shooter. Dive into heart-pounding battles against two formidable bosses, immersing yourself in high-speed combat. Dodge incoming attacks, dash through danger, and unleash a hail of bullets as you strive to conquer the arena and emerge victorious.

Controls:

• Move: Utilize the W, A, S, and D keys to navigate the arena with agility and precision.
• Jump: Press the Spacebar to leap into action, with the ability to perform a double jump for added mobility.
• Dash: Hold down the Left Shift key to execute lightning-fast dashes in any direction, even while airborne.
• Fire Weapon: Use both of your weapons by pressing the Left and Right Mouse Buttons, respectively.
• Wall Run: Take advantage of vertical surfaces by jumping onto walls, initiating thrilling wall-running maneuvers.
• Pause: P

Velocity Meter: As you traverse the arena with speed  your velocity meter fills up, indicating your momentum. You receive a damage boost proportionate to your velocity.

Bosses:

• The Drone Boss:
  Prepare for a relentless onslaught against the Drone Boss, a formidable adversary armed with an array of deadly weapons and cunning tactics. It has the following combat tools:
  • Minigun: Unleashes a hail of rapid-fire bullets, shredding through anything in its path.
  • Laser: Fires a devastating laser beam with high damage potential, albeit with a longer cooldown period.

  

  • Missile  Launcher: Fires a barrage of missile that do AOE damage.

  

  • Smoke Evasion: Utilizes smoke to cloak itself when its health is low, regenerating and momentarily obscuring its position from view.

    

  • Mini Drones: Occasionally summons mini drones to distract and harass you.
  • Force Gun: When you get too close, deploys a force gun that inflicts massive damage and propels you backward, creating distance.
• Lich: Due to time and art constraints, the lich boss is incomplete. It has a smaller attack pattern set:
  • • Electric Rays: Fires bolts of electricity at high velocity, electrifying the battlefield and posing a significant threat to players.
    • Hail Storm: Summons a fierce hail storm, pelting players with icy shards and creating a hazardous environment that must be navigated carefully.
    • Hurl Lightning: Hurls a thunderstorm towards the player that travels at a constant velocity towards the play.
